Archive of Java work done at AFIT
While at AFIT I did a bunch of little, useless Java applets while practicing this and that heuristic. I'm leaving them up here, and you're all welcome to learn what you can from them, though I don't recommend it. =)
- Thesis
- A draft chapter from my thesis and some play applets for UAV routing.
- Ball and Tail
- Some kind of thing running around, but it doesn't work well in all browsers. Bad programming. Sorry.
- Maze2D
- A fun little two-dimensional maze that doesn't seem to work in all browsers. I guess I did some weird stuff when programming it. Sorry.
- Normal Distribution
- Uses Gaussian-Legendre nodes to integrate area under normal distribution curve.
- Utility Curve
- A JavaBean-ish control that uses a slider to adjust a utility curve.
- Complex Adaptive System
- What Ball and Tail was supposed to be I think. Complex adaptive system. Looks like a bunch of tadpoles running around.
- The Dance
- Complex adaptive system. Supposed to be people responding to the music and stage, but of course everything just kind of "sits there." Maybe it's more realistic than I thought!
- The Dance 1
- Mostly broken variation on The Dance.
- Multi-Dimensional Knapsack Problem
- Solving a Multi-Dimensional Knapsack Problem with a Java Tabu Search. Prose and java applet.
